A Desire For Damaged Goods - Synopsis

Life seems to be running smoothly for sixteen year old Taylor Greene. She has a well paying job as a waitress, good grades, a roof over her head, and food in her stomach. Her family was , to everyone's knowledge apart from her own, happy and whole and her life seemed happy and whole also, But is there more to life than always being the good girl with straight A's?

For eighteen year old Kai McKinley, however, life was far from great. Just recently becoming the victim of his brother's untimely death, he has been forced to roam the streets for work to support his mother who is not coping with another two children at home. All he really wants to do is to be free from his life he lives at the moment, and to enjoy himself again.

But on One afternoon, the unlikely pair meet in the cafe in which Taylor works, and someone leaves a mysterious CD on the counter.

From then on, unbeknownst to them both, everything changes forever. Taylor finds herself becoming more and more infatuated with the strange boy with the dimples, but will Kai just lead her into trouble?
